The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) is writing to people who have made a private family law application to the family court but have not yet had their first hearing to explain the benefits of taking part in mediation.
The MOJ explains a little about mediation and how a specialist family mediator can help to reach a unique agreement tailored to individual circumstances.
It explains that a financial contribution of up to £500 towards family mediation is still available from the MOJ. Family Matters has been one of the mediation firms to use the scheme the most – having applied for 224 vouchers to date.
You can find out more about the MOJ’s Family Mediation Voucher Scheme on the Family Mediation Council website and can apply for a voucher to contribute to your mediation costs by contacting Family Matters at admin@familymattersmediate.co.uk or on 03300 881440
