Hosted by Tasha Walsh from Seen & Heard Therapy

Developed for any professional working with adults, children and families

Human beings are a diverse population. People think and see the world differently, have different interests and motivations, strengths and weaknesses.

Neurodiversity describes a normal variation across people and refers to the different ways the brain can work and interpret information.

It is estimated that around 1 in 7 people (more than 15% of people in the UK) have neurodevelopmental differences, including Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

It is important we understand, work effectively and adapt to neurodivergent clients and their families so they can navigate family dispute successfully.

The webinar will cover;
What is neurodiversity?
Understanding ADHD [Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder] How ADHD may present/impact in families
ASD understanding the basics [Autism Spectrum Disorder] Adversity and conflict and how they impact on neurodiverse people
Adapting practice
Signposting and resources

Throughout the session there will be opportunities for delegates to discuss their own experiences.
Case studies will also be discussed and considered as a group, led by the presenter.
