Sara trained as a family mediation in 2009 and became accredited with the Family Mediation Council in 2010 following a career as a barrister . She was called to the Bar in 1994 and practiced in family law and finance in both Newcastle and Sheffield until 2007.
Since qualifying as a mediator Sara has gained extensive experience in family mediation including property and finance and children cases and qualified as a child inclusive mediator in 2016. Sara offers mediation face to face in South Yorkshire or online via Zoom or Teams. Sara is warm and approachable taking a calm approach to all her mediations , she brings a wealth on legal and mediation experience to her work.
Sara qualified Professional Practice Consultant in 2014. Sara supervises and provides professional support to other family mediators. This role is supported by the fact Sara is an Associate Lecturer at a local university where she teaches law and mediation to law students.
