Bina joined Family Matters as a trainee mediator in 2019 and qualified as a full FMCA in April 2025. Prior to this she was a solicitor specialising in family law.
She says mediation offers the opportunity to meet different people and to help them to find solutions which best meets their and their families’ diverse and complex needs, whether that is about arrangements for children finances or both.
Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends, walking in nature, cooking, reading, and learning. Current topics that interest her are psychology and Vedanta philosophy.
She enjoys working with other professionals and is a member of a number of committees including the Leicestershire Resolution, National Resolution Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Leicester Family Child Contact Centre.
