Mediation is becoming increasingly recognised as a valuable option in dealing with family disputes, not only in the UK, but around the world, and Family Matters’ mediators are in the forefront of its development.
Juliette Dalrymple and Stan Angel, directors of one of the region’s most highly regarded family mediation firms, Family Matters, are helping to ensure that mediators are professionally trained and competent.
Chosen for their own expertise and experience, Stan and Juliette are making their mark around the world, with Stan currently undertaking a 4 day assignment training mediators in Kazakhstan.
Stan says, “I was delighted to have accepted the invitation. Mediation is in its early stages in Kazakhstan and the training will go a long way to help develop a professional practice network.” Family Matters is grateful to Jen Rumble, a mediator who is proficient in Russian and Ukrainian, for being involved in the arrangements for this trip and for translating the presentation.
Juliette has been appointed as an assessor for the Family Mediation Council, the national body responsible for qualification of mediators able to undertake legally aided mediation in the UK.
With people from around the country attending Family Matters’ own training courses, it looks like the firm has put Yorkshire & The Humber firmly on the map for excellence in mediation.
