Family Matters is recruiting administration assistants for its Doncaster Office. We are looking for friendly hardworking individuals to join our team on a part time basis. We work with families who wish to attend mediation to agree arrangements for children or finances after separation or divorce.
Good telephone manner and word processing skills are essential and knowledge of case management skills is an advantage. We look forward to hearing from you.
Job description:
- Responsible to office manager in the first instance, thereafter, the Family Matters company directors
- Supervised quarterly by office manager and annual appraisal by Juliette Dalrymple
- Based in Doncaster, but may be required to attend awareness raising or publicity events in our outreach offices
Responsibilities:
- Making tea and coffee, providing hospitality as required
- To ensure our waiting area is welcoming and tidy
- Copying evidence from clients on their first appointment
- Ensuring relevant documentation is returned to the solicitors on closing of case
- Ensuring stationery and all supplies are up to date
- Typing and preparing all documents as directed
- All post and franking
- Closing cases and filing
- Any other duties/locations as required
- Updating case management system on a regular basis
Competencies:
- Good communication skills and telephone manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft/Word/Excel
- Knowledge of social media and websites
- Enthusiastic/hardworking
- Accurate typing skills
