Annabel and Ben came to online mediation to talk about arrangements for their children and finances. Annabelle was legally aided and Ben used the MoJ voucher funding for mediation about children. Both their MIAMS (one to one meetings) were paid for by the Legal Aid Agency. They had two mediation sessions and agreed the arrangements for their daughter aged three.
They shared all the financial information needed to reach agreement, which can be used by their solicitors to draw up a consent order within the court process.

“First and foremost, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the mediator for everything she’s done for us during the last year.
“Having never had any previous experience with mediation or divorce prior to this, I had no idea what to expect or what benefit mediation would be. However, through the mediators empathetic understand, experience and above all patience, we’ve finally got to a stage where things have become much more organised and clearer.
“Her professionalism and impartiality never faltered, yet she showed care and understanding when things clearly became emotional for me.
“We wouldn’t be in the position we’re in now without the mediator’s help and knowledge….and did I mention patience!? She needed lots of that.
“Thank you again.“
