We have contacted you to offer you the opportunity to arrange your own Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting.
You might have been expecting us to contact you, or it might have come out of the blue.
The mediation could be about property/finances, or about arrangements for children. It might be with an ex-partner or another member of your family.
The important thing is that mediation is a neutral process. It doesn’t matter who has asked for mediation; the process belongs to you both equally. The mediator is impartial and will help you come to agreements, which will work for everyone.
You may be worried and have questions, about the next steps or the costs. This initial call will answer your questions so you can make an informed decision about the next steps.
At this stage, we will only be able to share general details about the referral with you. Any information you give us will be confidential, it will not be shared with the other person in your case.
