Kids in the Middle exists to provide on-line help to children and young people whose parents are separating or separated.
Kids in the Middle provides online and phone support to young people. The last twelve months have been spent raising money to design and build the website Its finally here at www.kidsinthemiddle.org.uk
The aim of the website is to reach out to young people who are finding the struggles of separation difficult and reach them. Their objective is that eventually one person in the life of every child experiencing separation knows about Kids in the Middle and tells them about it. This will allow them to talk to one of the peer mentors or the trained counsellors on the phone or over the internet.
Our role is to help them raise money to fund a website and to provide support to younger children and also to bring the voice of young people to separating parents.
We think the Kids in the Middle charity is innovative and will be an invaluable source of support and information for children in the future .
Most young people have access to the internet and Kids in the Middle reaches out to the young people at their level communicating via the internet which young people not only respond to, but are also interested in supporting and raising money for.
Kids in the Middle is a registered charity backed by our mediation company and we are delighted to be a part of such a great project.
