Raffia has acted for both the Local Authority and Respondent’s in forced and female genital mutilation cases. She can be instructed as an expert on matters relating to Islamic family law and sharia law. Raffia is the author of the leading text on Islamic Family Law. \nGail Farrington – Gail is an experienced all-round family law practitioner who regularly undertakes a range of complex matters including financial matters involving pensions\, properties and trusts. \nGareth Jacques – Gareth practices exclusively in financial remedies and TOLATA applications. Gareth regularly acts and advises in the most complex of financial remedies cases including those with a high net value. Gareth has a particular expertise and interest in acting in agricultural divorce cases with a large asset base\, both in the local courts and at High Court Judge level in London. Living in rural Lincolnshire\, Gareth has a thorough understanding of the particular needs and intricacies of such cases. \nJames Snelus – James has a busy practice in demanding ancillary relief and financial disputes between unmarried / cohabiting couples\, as well as under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act. He also accepts instructions in private law disputes involving children. \nAndrew Wren – Andrew works in all areas of family law\, including private and public law children matters\, domestic violence injunctions\, cohabitation disputes and financial remedy proceedings.
