Stuart Hanson has worked in immigration law and has now been licensed by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) for over 10 years. His clients include a number of premier league football clubs and players.
Stuart was appointed a magistrate at the family court in Leeds and after watching hundreds of families go through the court system, strongly believes that many families benefit from mediation rather than a long and distressing court battles.
Stuart completed his mediation training with The Family Mediators Association (FMA) in Leeds and is an associate mediator with Family Matters.
In his free time, Stuart works for the human rights charity, No Going Back. Providing free legal advice to LGBT asylum seekers in the UK. He has spoken on the plight of LGBT asylum seekers alongside LGBT activist, Peter Tatchell, Amanda Gray UNHCR and LGBT barrister of the year 2014, Mr. Chelvan. Stuart has also been a guest speaker at the London School of Economics, St. Andrews University, Bradford Pride, Manchester Metropolitan University. He has also done interviews with Channel 4, Al Jazeera, LBC Radio and numerous training events
